Welcome to the website of Days & Years (“Days & Years”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website, purchasing goods, or engaging our interior design services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will apply to future orders and services and will be published on this page. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

2. Shop orders
Making an order
Items may be purchased either directly through the website or via enquiry.
For items available to purchase online:
• Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout
• Confirm your order
• Payment is processed securely via our website using trusted third-party providers
For items listed as price on request:
• Please contact us to enquire about the item
• We will provide details, including pricing and delivery
• If you wish to proceed, payment will be arranged via invoice
A contract is formed only once you receive written confirmation from us (including by email).
3. Price and payment
• All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected
4. Availability
All items are subject to availability.
Some items are offered on a price on request basis and may require additional confirmation prior to purchase.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund.
For made-to-order pieces, any stated lead times are estimates and may vary.
5. Delivery
• Delivery is not included in item prices and is arranged separately
• Delivery costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis depending on the size, weight, and destination
• We will contact you after purchase or enquiry to confirm delivery arrangements and costs
• We aim to contact you within 48 hours of order confirmation
• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
International delivery
Shipping outside the United Kingdom is calculated on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional costs, including import duties and local taxes.
We will contact you to confirm delivery arrangements and costs.
6. Returns and refunds
We hope you are delighted with your purchase. If not:
• Please email us within 14 days of receiving your item
• Items must be returned in their original condition
• Returns are at your own cost and risk
We can recommend couriers but accept no liability for third-party transport.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
We may reduce the refund if the item has been handled in a way that diminishes its value.
We do not offer refunds on:
• Made-to-order or bespoke items
• Items personalised to your specification
This returns policy is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 14 days of purchase, provided the item has not been dispatched.
Made-to-order and bespoke items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
8. Loan terms
We may offer selected items on a short-term loan basis.
Loan period and deposit
• Items may be loaned for up to 5 working days, starting from the date of delivery
• A refundable deposit equal to 100% of the retail value is required prior to delivery
Returns and condition
• Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received
• Items will be inspected upon return, and any damage or loss will be assessed reasonably
Liability
• Responsibility for the item passes to you upon delivery or collection
• You are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage while the item is in your care
• If an item is damaged, lost, or not returned, you may be charged up to the full replacement value
Late returns
• A late return fee of £50 per day may be charged if items are not returned on the agreed date
Transport
• Delivery and return are arranged at your cost and risk
• We can recommend couriers but accept no liability for third-party transport
Agreement
• All loans must be agreed in writing (including by email) prior to dispatch
9. Interior design services
Days & Years offers interior design services including interior architecture, spatial planning, furnishing, and decoration.
Details of each project, including scope of work, fees, and timelines, will be set out in a separate written agreement prior to commencement.
10. Antiques and product descriptions
Descriptions are given to the best of our knowledge and belief. Unless explicitly stated, we do not guarantee age, origin, or maker.
While every effort is made to accurately represent items, variations in colour, tone, and condition may occur.
All measurements are approximate.
Antique and vintage pieces will show signs of age and wear, which form part of their character.
Buyers are encouraged to carry out their own due diligence.
11. Intellectual property
All content on our website and materials (including images, text, designs, and branding) belongs to Days & Years or our licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without prior written permission.
12. Liability
We make every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee all information is complete or error-free.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for:
• death or personal injury caused by negligence
• fraud
• any liability that cannot be excluded by law
To the extent permitted by law:
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
• our total liability is limited to the amount paid for goods or services
13. Security
We use secure third-party providers to process payments. We do not store your payment details.
14. Data protection
We will only use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
15. General terms
Entire agreement
These terms, along with any project agreements, form the entire agreement between you and us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England.
Assignment
We may transfer our rights. You may not do so without consent.
Severability
If any part is invalid, the remainder remains in force.
